CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
As we proceed and take daily steps for the overall development and sustainability of the community we live in, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is the one area that we identify ourselves with. We strive to contribute in areas that range from corporate governance to human rights, which are meaningful in local and national context.
At DiNi Communications, Inc., we are diligently committed to fulfill our role as responsible corporate citizens by supporting and adding value to the communities where our employees live and work, as well as the communities where the need is greatest. Reinforcing through giving has always been a cornerstone of our business and a belief that guides so many of our decisions. We have lived by a set of core values and context specific strategies which includes a commitment to be in service to our community and to those who are affected by unforeseen circumstances. This is the spirit that animates our business and drives our commitment to volunteer service and social responsibility. We strive to make a positive social and environmental impact thus building a ‘Brilliant Legacy’ that is remarkable and worthy. We are committed to putting our technology and expertise to work, where it can do the most good for people and the planet, making possible today what was impossible yesterday.
As such encompassing a wide array of community focused activities customized to meet a community’s specific needs, we intend to enhance a vulnerable community’s access to food and erase hunger. We focus on truly making a difference in the daily lives of those who rely on hunger relief organizations and meal service programs to feed themselves and their families.
Keeping the focus in mind, since 2014, DiNi has displayed their commitment to fighting hunger by sponsoring two full lunch meals every month for approximately 400 homeless people collaborating with St. John Soup Kitchen (Feed the Hungry Program), in Newark, New Jersey. Aligning with this gesture, in February 2015, DiNi initiated a task that sponsored over 8,500 hot meals for homeless people all over USA, that were served by various Soup Kitchens, Churches and Meals on Wheels Programs. This program took nearly 2 months to cover the target.
DiNi pledged to another commitment in 2016 (February 10th through March 25th) by sponsoring hot meals for approximately 8,700 people for 40 days through different Soup Kitchens including Meals on Wheels Programs and any such churches who cater to this type of cause. For the months of March and April 2017 & 2018, DiNi continued to sponsor hot meals for those in need totaling over 10,000 people. In 2019 during the same months, DiNi has sponsored an additional 13,455 meals throughout the United States in a continued effort to help the homeless. These meals were sent through Meals on Wheels, Project Hospitality, local churches, and other soup kitchens. Some of the locations included Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and New Jersey.
The issue of access to food is one that is very important to us and we strongly believe that access to healthy food – provided in a dignified manner – is important for everyone. Additionally, DiNi encourages and believes in the idea that “A cause like this is feasible with intention and effort and the results of such a stimulation are always momentous.”
